Botanist, educated and taking his Ph.Dr’s degree (1936) at the University of Groningen. Since 1937 on the staff of the Botanical Laboratory of the General Experiment Station for Agriculture at Buitenzorg. After evacuation to Holland, following World War II, he was appointed Agriculturist at the State Institute for race investigation of crop plants, Wageningen. |
