Forest Officer, joined the D.E. Indian Forest Service in 1917; stationed in Java, in teak districts and elsewhere. In 1925 he took his Dr’s degree at Wageningen. In 1938 he was appointed Inspector; retired in 1946. |

He collected plants in teak forests on behalf of Beumée; numbered in the latter’s series in 1922-23; in Herb. Bog. [BO]. [N.B. of R. Wind it is also said that he collected in Beumée's series, one statement is incorrect.] |
