A missionary who collected plants in Java and the environs of Macao (S. China).1 He might be identical with George Harvey Vachell (fl. 1800-36), chaplain of the E.I.C. Factory at Macao, 1825-36, who is commemorated in the genus Vachellia Wight & Arn.2 |
