Is cited as the collector of Neuropeltis maingavi Peter (cf. Blumea 3, 1938, p. 84) in Malacca, material of which in Herb. Kew [K].

A certain Dr Stocks was the collector of valuable collections from Sind and Beluchistan (cf. Hooker & Thomson. Flora lndica 1, 1855, p. 70). He might have collected in the Malay Peninsula too, or otherwise he must have got the specimen from somebody else, as the cited species is endemic in the Malay Peninsula.
