Japanese botanist who during his internment in Galang Island near Singapore at the end of World War II made a collection of plants.1 During the war he apparently visited Buitenzorg (Bogor).2 |

The collection from Galang Island comprises 72 spermatophytes, 7 pteridophytes and some cryptogams. Present location not known to me. |
