Completed his training at Oxford after starting at Cooper’s Hill; he joined the Forest Department Malay Peninsula in Aug. 1907, during his term of office holding charge of most states of the Federation; finally State Forest Officer, Negri Sembilan and Malacca; retired in June 1937, and settled at Brastagi, Sumatra. He started the regeneration-improvement-felling schemes in Malayan Forests. |
