Is cited by Merrill (Bull. Bur. of Agr. Manila, no 4, 1903, p. 30) as the collector of botanical material in the Philippines. Probably this is a mistake, the orchid specialist H.G. Reichenbach (cf. Backer, Verkl. Woordenb., 1936) never visited the Malaysian region, but was the owner of an extensive herbarium. No other Reichenbach is known to me.
