Born: 1886, Alpen a/d Rijn, Holland

career:

Passed the pharmaceutical examination at Amsterdam in 1912; from 1913-17 Chemical Assistant at Amsterdam University, and subsequently attached to the chemical factory at Naarden; 1920-24 appointed in the Chemical division of the Sugar Experiment Station at Semarang (Centr. Java), and in 1924 ditto at Pasoeroean (E. Java); 1925-32 Chief of the Laboratory for Analysis of the Chemical division; after return to Holland she settled as a pharmacist at Leerdam. In 1946 she gave up her job and moved to Huis ter Heide (near Zeist).
