Is cited by Merrill1 as the collector of botanical material in the Philippines. Probably identical with Don Ramón Jordana y Morera (cf. l.c. p. 21) (1839, ? ; 1900, Madrid, Spain) who was for some years in the Philippines as an Inspector of the Forestry Bureau; while there he secured data for his work entitled ‘Bosquejo geográfico é histórico-natural del Archipiélago Filipino’ (Madrid 1885). Quercus jordanae Laguna was named after him. |
