Zoologist, educated in the universities of Chicago, Illinois, and London. Leader of the Chicago-Philippine Expedition in 1946-471, during which Edaño (see there) did most of the botanical collecting (cf. also Alcasid, Castro, Celestino). At present Head of the Department of Medical Zoology of a U.S. Naval Medical Research Unit in Cairo, Egypt. |

A few numbers in Luzon and Mindanao; numbered in the P.N.H. series (cf. sub Philippine National Herbarium) [PNH]; also in Herb. Chicago [F]. In 1939-41 he collected in Mexico. |
