Came to the D.E.I. in 1882; he joined the Civil Service in 1911 and was successively Administrator in: Timor and Dependencies (Lesser Sunda Islands), Palembang Res. (S. Sumatra) (1921-26), the Moluccas (1926-28), Manado Res. (N. Celebes) (1928-30), Billiton (1930-32). He was pensioned off early in 1932. |
