Born: 1882, The Hague, Holland. Died: recorded missing after 1941.

career:

Physician, educated at Utrecht University (M.D. 1912); in 1912 to Borneo as joint-manager of a planned Forest products Co., and stationed at Bandjermasin (SE. part) till 1914; reservist Medical Officer in Holland, 1914-18; from 1918-20 in special service of the Dutch Government; in the Civil Health Department in the D.E.I., 1921-24; Medical Director of the Hospital of the Hospital Society at Lima Poeloe (Sumatra East Coast); settled as a private practitioner at The Hague, 1932-41.

Herb. Utrecht [U], numbers above 800, rather poor specimens, collected in Borneo in 1915 (this does not agree with the biography!) or ? 1914. See also under Hutsz.
