career:

Since April 1930 in temporary employ of the D.E. Indian Forest Service; first stationed at Samarinda (E. Borneo) and since May 1937 at Kota Baroe (SE. Borneo), working in P. Lacet, Tanah-Boemboe, etc. In April 1938 he quitted Government service and entered provincial service, he was appointed Overseer of Forests in Boeloengan, stationed at Noenoekan, NE. Borneo.
