Botanist, pupil of Prof. Goebel, who took his Ph.D. degree at Munich in 1894.

collections:

Some Melastomataceae in Herb. Munich [M] and Leiden [L] (cf. Bakh v.d. Brink f. in Rec. Trav. Bot. néerl. 40, 1943, p. 55 and 115), collected in the Buitenzorg Botanic Gardens, Java (Oct. 6, and Nov. 18, 1899).

Herb. Munich [M]: over 100 Java plants (pres. 1901), collected in Sept.-Nov. 1899 at Buitenzorg and vicinity. In the years 191723 he presented other small collections, but possibly not from Java.
