Abundant material of a white Rhododendron aff. schadenbergii Warb., collected_. on the E. side of the Latimodjong Mts (SW. Celebes), just below the watershed between the summits Potok Sia and Boentoe Sikollong and on the road from Boni (Doeri) to Bolla, at 2200 m alt.

Accompanied C.A. Backer with an expedition of the Topographical Service to Krakatoa in May 1908.
