Born: 1905, Highams Park, London, England. |

Studied horticulture at Boskoop, Holland, in 1922; subsequently worked for Castle Nurseries Ltd, South Chingford, E. 4, until 1928. Then felt the call to be a missionary and in order to pay his way through the university he set up his own nursery business, continuing until 1938. He studied theology at Paton College, Nottingham (1930-31), and subsequently in London; in 1938 ordained minister congregational order, and appointed to Papua by the London Missionary Society, and up till now stationed at Mora. His special interest is anthropology in which he took a Post-Graduate course during furlough in 1957. |
