Botanist, educated at Cornell University (B. Sc. 1950), and Vassar College (M. Sc. 1951). Successively employed at The National Academy of Science, Washington, D.C., 1951-52; Fulbright Fellow in the Philippines, 1952-54; at Scripps Clinic & Research Foundation, La Jolla, California, 1955-57. In the latter year married to Mr Joseph Lee Sedwitz, surgeon in the U.S. Navy. |
