Born: 1876, ’s Hertogenbosch, N.Br., Holland.

career:

Was employed by the D.E.I. Forest Service since 1898; stationed many years in the teak districts of Java (in 1901 at Gombong), at the end of 1916 at Soekaboemi and in 1921 at Buitenzorg. He was appointed Inspector in 1922, and retired in 1925.
