Binnendijk collected in Sumatra, but no data on a visit to that island came to my knowledge.It seems possible that he also collected other material. In the letters of S. Binnendijk I found a note that his son, W.H. Binnendijk, collected seeds of Teysmannia albifrons at Rau (Padang Uplands, Sum. W. Coast) (letter dated June 14, 1879), which were forwarded to Leiden. It seems possible that he also collected other material. |
