Born: 1893, Makassar, Celebes.

career:

Was educated at the Agricultural College, Wageningen (Holland); from 1919-22 Consulting Agriculturist at Buitenzorg (W. Java) and Tapanoeli (NW. Sumatra); subsequently on the staff of the Java Sugar Experiment Station at Pasoeroean, as Group-Adviser at Kediri from 1923-37, and ditto at Djokja from 1937-41; since 1941 Agriculturist at Pasoeroean; retired in 1947.
