Obtained the B.S. degree in Forestry of the University of Edinburgh in 1921. Joined the Forest Department Malay Peninsula in 1921. and was transferred to Ceylon in 1938; in 1945 appointed Director of Forests Malayan Union. In 1950 he retired on medical grounds. |
