Acting Chairman of the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C., Botany Department, onwards of 1964.

Luzon: Prov. of Quezon, Maliliit na Bato, drainage of Dakil R., 17 km E of Pangil (Alt. 1400 ft), concession of Intern. Hardwood and Veneer Co. (Oct. 24); Mountain Prov. (Nov. 25-26, coll. by and with Beningno A. Lomibao).-1964. Luzon: Mountain Prov., Subprov. of Bontoc, at Bauko, forests on slopes of Mt Data between 7000 and 8000 ft alt. (Feb. 10-13, with Justo P. Rojo).
