career:

A Forest Officer who collected mosses, especially on Dieng Plateau in Centr. Java. He is probably identical with the later Inspector of Forests of that name.¹

The mosses Entodon seubertianus Fleisch. and Ectropothecium seuberti Fleisch. were named after him; the latter species was collected near Wonosobo (= Diëng Plateau), probably the former too.²
