He is probably identical with Felipe Salvoza, from 1915-16 Principal Teacher at Infanta Int. School, Tayabas; 1918-26 Ranger, and after study at the State College at New York, Forest Officer since 1930. In 1924 he started a collection of lianas. Author of several sylvicultural papers.1 Author of ‘Lexicon of Philippine Trees’ (For. Prod. Res. Inst. Bull. no 1, 1963, 136 pp.). |

In 1947/48 he collected plants on Mt Makiling in Luzon, and in Polillo and Palasan Island. |
