career:

Passed her final examination of biology in 1936 at Utrecht. She married Dr M.G. Rutten (eldest son of L.M.R. Rutten), who was appointed geologist in the employ of the B.P.M. (Batavian Oil Company) and was stationed at Tjepoe (Centr. Java, 1936-37), and subsequently transferred to S. Sumatra.
