career:

Physician who took part in the circumnavigation of the world by Hagemeister from 1828-30.¹His voyage with Capt. Hagemeister was made in the ‘Krotky’.

collections:

Lipsky² mentions his collections together with those of I. Stewart, but it seems evident that they took part in different expeditions. As yet I do not know the route followed by Hagemeister’s expedition; it is certain that the Marshall Islands were visited.
