Was educated at Wageningen Agricultural College; he came out to Java in 1925, and was appointed in temporary employ of the Government Guttapercha Estate at Tjipetir (W. Java); since 1927 on the staff cf the General Agricultural Experiment Station at Buitenzorg. In 1935, during a European furlough, he took his Dr’s degree at Wageningen. |
