Was educated at the University of Copenhagen (B.Sc.), later Assistant at the Mycological Institute. He specializes in Fungi (genus Helvella).¹

From July 16-Sept. 5, 1962, he participated in the Danish ‘Noona Dan Expedition’ (see there for Itinerary, Collections, etc.).
