Forest Officer, educated at Edinburgh University (B.Sc.), employed in the Forest Department of Malaya from Sept. 1921 to May 1951.

Some duplicates of his of the Malay Peninsula are in Herb. Edinburgh [E], part of a collection received from the Malay Forest Department from the late Dr Bert Davy of Oxford. He collected in the C.F. series (cf. Conservator of Forests series in Fl. Mal. vol. 1).
