Born: 1899, Taiping, Perak, Malay Peninsula.

career:

Was educated in forestry at Rangoon University (Diploma in 1926). Joined the Forest Department Malay Peninsula in Dec. 1919. Till March 1951 in the Malayan Forest Service, lastly as Senior Assistant Conservator of Forests in Perak.

Herb. Kuala Lump. [KEP], numbered in the C.F. (see sub Conservator of Forests) series; collected in Johore, Negri Sembilan, Pahang, and Selangor. Dupl. in Herb. Edinburgh [E].
