(Source: Flora Malesiana ser. 1, 1: Cyclopaedia of collectors)

career:

Sons of A.E. Pratt (see there), who accompanied their father on a collecting tour in West and North Dutch New Guinea in 1907-08. The sons stayed in the Schouten Islands for 6 months. In 1912 Felix accompanied his father to Peru and the Amazon region, collecting on behalf of J.J. Joicey, owner of the Hill Museum (Witley, Surrey, England). Subsequently Charles and Felix made entomological collections in Dutch New Guinea, Schouten Islands, Roon, Waigeu (= Waigeo), Ceram (Manusela Range) and Buru (= Boeroe), in 1913 and 1920;1 possibly in Sumatra too. They ceased collecting some time before 1932; they are supposed to have gone into the rubber industry in Sumatra.

collections:

Chiefly entomological; occasionally living orchids were collected, as Mr Joicey grew them; also food-plants of Lepidopterous larvae. In Herb. Kew [K]: at least nos 3 and 4, both Urticaceae from Ceram (pres. in 1922 by the Haslemere Mus., Surrey).2
