Is cited as a collector of plants in the Philippines in Merrill, Enum. Philip. Fl. Pl., s.n., from Luzon, on Mt Pasoan etc.

A certain Georg Boettcher (Berlin 1890-1920), made entomological collections in the Philippines;¹ he may be identical with the above-mentioned.
